Product Overview

The Magura HC3 is a radial brake master cylinder (hydraulic fitting) for motorcycles. It was developed as an upgrade component, with a focus on better braking performance, a more direct pressure point, and high quality. It is suitable for use on the road as well as for sportier or racing conditions.

Available in several variants: 12mm,15mm or 18mm – depending on the desired braking pressure.

According to the manufacturer, the HC3 is compatible with all common ABS systems. “ABS kickback” (when ABS engages and pressure is noticeably returned) is also taken into account.

Difference between HC1 and HC3 Pump

• If you want a good brake master cylinder that is reliable, with a clear pressure point, and you don’t need many adjustments → Then the HC1 is perfectly sufficient.

• However, if you want fine control and want to adjust lever reach, lever travel, and lever force (e.g., for changing conditions, riding techniques), then the extra cost for the HC3 is worth it.
