In fact, the standard triple clamp is a major weakness. It happens almost with every crash, no matter how small, that the front wheel twists in its position to the handlebars and direct continued riding is not possible. This no longer happens when using an Xtrig triple clamp, as the fork is virtually twist-proof due to the opposing clamping device.
This means for you:
- More safety → No more twisting of the front wheel
- Better directional stability → Due to better clamping → Better handling, more control, more direct steering
- Less deformation of the fork tubes → Due to the opposing clamping device, the screws no longer need to be tightened as much
- Better response of the fork → Because it runs more freely in the clamping area
Compared to the cheaper Rocs Tech, the Rocs Pro has one more feature. You can change the offset.
What does that mean:
The offset, or displacement, is the distance from the center of the fork to the center of the steering axis. With a larger offset, the bike becomes more agile; with a smaller offset, it becomes more directionally stable. Here is a YouTube link on how to change the offset. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YW7SLF-penI
Attention:
The handlebar mount must be ordered separately.
